That’s a good point, Kain. I was talking to Antony about how expats use the word “moto-cye” for “motorcycle taxi”. As for bugs, I love nam prick maeng da & som tam maeng da. แซ่บเวอร์!
NO no no, no to 10, 5 and 1. 🙂 Though with #1 I do have got used to somelevel of “nothing makes sense and it is ok” but I still try to resist and keep some of my own personality. 😀 Other signs imho are: getting used to the horrible traffic and take as an opportunity to take a nap or read a book while stuck in taxi in a middle of horrible traffic jam. And indeed that using motorcycle taxis like a boss. And something I have yet to achieve to really been too long in BKK: walking super slow on sidewalks with total disregard of others and taking whole pathway with your mate. 😀 And imho it is “not too long” (but totally sensible): using local markets to buy your groceries, veggies, meats and stuff vs. going to the “hygienic” Big C or something. 😀 Oh and starting to use “khrap/na” at end of your English sentences. 😀
